Moss Trade

The Patriots once again pull a briliant move from there magic hat.  Randy Moss was acquired for a 4th Round pick and we have now got a 3rd Round pick for him.  During the same time we traded Richard Seywour to the Raiders for a 1st Round pick.  Randy Moss isn't happy and neither was Richard Seymour and they will save a bunch of money.  Buy low and Sell high is the way Robert Kraft has made his money and that is how Bill Belichick makes his Super Bowl teams.

The Patriots don't win Super Bowls with guys like Randy Moss, they win with the likes of Troy Brown, David Patten, frustrated Corey Dillon and 6th round picks like TOM BRADY!!!  They have 8 picks in the first 4 rounds which they will trade at least 2 of them for future drafts picks or to move up in the draft.  I can't wait to see one of the top running backs in college on the Patriots next year.

Keep it up Bill!!!

Week 10 Picks

Good Morning and Welcome to Week 10,

Already 1-0 for the week in my prior post I picked the 49ers over the Bears....in one of the worst games I have ever seen (offensively).

This is a wild week, I picked the Titans and Raiders, two teams that had horrible starts.  The Titans could possible finish in 2nd place in the division if they keep there winnings ways.  The Broncos and Kyle Orton better not blow it in our Nations capital.  A few other tough choices were the Packers vs the Cowboys.  If Romo gets going, they could pick up a lot of points.  The Patriots, my partial color I bleed are facing good ole Peyton Manning on his turf.  If they can get pressure on him and get some decent coverage, the Brady bunch should take this game.

Good luck to everyone in Week 10 and hopefully some nice double digit victories for me this week....Love Home Dawgs

Week 9 Results plus Week 10 Thursday Pick

Good Evening,

I did not have time to post my picks for Week 9 but I doubt anyone wanted to see them because I haven't put up the best numbers.  Although I still have managered to stay in the top 1 % of all Yahoo Pick 'em League.

Last week I had an 8-5 record which actually moved me up in the standings.  What an amazing week of home and upset loses.  Bears being beat at home vs the Cardinals.  Then the Bucs taking down Aaron Rodgers Packers at home.  Chargers and LT took down Eli Manning and the struggling Giants at HOME!  The Titans kept on a roll with Chris Johnson running all over the 49ers at HOME!  Finally the Tony Romo Cowboys took down McNabb and the Eagles at HOME!  I can't remember seeing a time when so many great teams lost at home.  Also Drew Brees almost lost at home with the Saints....That score doesn't show how close that game was with the late defensive touchdown for the Saints.

@Atlanta Falcons         vs     Washington Redskins    Correct, Atl 31, Was 17
@Chicago Bears         vs     Arizona Cardinals          Incorrect, Ari 41, Chi 21
Baltimore Ravens         vs     @Cincinnati Bengals    Correct, Cin 17, Bal 7
@Indianapolis Colts         vs     Houston Texans       Correct, Ind 20, Hou 17
@New England Patriots    vs     Miami Dolphins        Correct, NE 27, Mia 17
Green Bay Packers          vs     @Tampa Bay Bucs    Incorrect, TB 38, GB 28
@Jacksonville Jaguars     vs     Kansas City Chiefs    Correct, Jac 24, KC 21
@New Orleans Saints        vs     Carolina Panthers   Correct, NO 30, Car 20
@Seattle Seahawks         vs     Detroit Lions           Correct, Sea 32, Det 20
@New York Giants        vs     San Diego Chargers    Incorrect, SD 21, NYG 20
@San Francisco 49ers     vs     Tennessee Titans      Incorrect, Ten 34, SF 27
@Philadelphia Eagles        vs     Dallas Cowboys      Incorrect, Dal 20, Phi 16
Pittsburgh Steelers         vs     @  Denver Broncos   Correct, Pit 28, Den 10

Week 10

Standings:

All of Yahoo: 783
NE Patriots Fans: 60

All still in the 99th Percentile.

Week 8 Picks (one day early)

Welcome to Week 8 and coming off my 1st bad week of the season, 8-5, going 0-3 on my upset picks I got my first post.  It's bittersweet since I don't get any when I go 14-2, 12-2, 12-4...Oh well, let's hope I can turn it around this week.  Current standings are:

Yahoo Overall: 330 still in the 99 percentile
New England Fans: 34
NH Fans: 6

In a rematch of 3 weeks ago, the Mark Sanchez Dirty Jets are going to take down Ted "I had to much" Ginn to catch the ball Dolphins.  Even though with my Michigan Henne in the helm, the Jets running game will be too much for 'fins.  The Eagles are going to take down the injured G-Men with there new deep threat DeSean Jackson.  The final 1 o'clock game that is tough will be the Broncos over the Ravens.  Marshall and Kyle Orton are going to connect for a few TDs and the Ravens offense will be no match for the Broncos defense.

Brett Favre makes his return to Lambeau and walks out with a close victory with AP's running game being too much for the Packers.  If AP doesn't get over 25 carries, they might be in trouble.  Monday Night Football....Drew Brees is going to show sophmore Matt Ryan how it's done with beating the Falcons in a shoot out.

Lets hope I get back to my winnings ways....LOVE HOME DAWGS

About Weekly NFL Picks
I have decided to post my picks to the public in hopes to help some people out or set myself up for some jokes. I have done really well with picks and currently on hold from betting due to getting married and buying a home. I did very with Parleys and picking dogs straight up. My best bet of all time is putting a C Note parley on Pats spread and OV, Colts Spread and OV and having it won by the 4th Quarter. In case you didn't know that pays 10 times what you put down. I have my picks by Sunday 11 am EST. Good Luck to all and remember, LOVE HOME DAWGS!!!
